Here is a little video showing the huge globe that hangs in the Museum of Technology and Innovation in Odaiba, Tokyo. We spent an entire weekend at the Museum, and we still didn't experience everything. One highlight for Kai was sitting in front with the other kids during the demonstration of the Honda Asimo robot.

- What made me decide to move my family to Japan? I grew up in Hawaii among many different cultures, and when I was a kid my mom sent me and my siblings to Japanese school after our regular school - we were the only haoles or white kids there. I learned some Japanese before we quit in sixth grade. But perhaps more of an influence were all my friends with whom I would attend bon dances, go to temple, and generally just spend time with their families. It made me appreciate my generic white American culture while opening up new worlds.
